Delicious Raw Peppermint Brownies

What? Raw brownies? You ask. YES!! And they are delicious. These brownies are Paleo and gluten free. Check out this recipe for a fun and healthy desert any time you are having a chocolate craving. 

Delicious Raw Peppermint Brownies

  1. 4 cups of Walnuts or Pecans (soaked overnight, then rinsed and drained)
  2. Dehydrate 12 hours or place on cookie sheet at lowest oven temp for 4-6 hours until dry
  3. 2/3 cup raisons
  4. 2/3 cup Medjool dates
  5. 2/3 cup cacao powder
  6. 2 tsps vanilla powder
  7. 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
  8. Pinch of Pink Salt
  9. 2-4 Tbsp water
  1. 1/2 cup maple syrup
  2. 1/4 cup coconut oil
  3. 3/4 cup cacao powder
  4. 1 tsp vanilla powder
  5. 4 drops Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil
  1. Place dried nuts in a food processor and blend to fine powder.
  2. Add raisons, dates, cacao powder, cinnamon, vanilla powder, salt and water and blend until smooth ball forms
  3. Place ball into a 9x9 pan and press to edges
  4. Warm the maple syrup and coconut oil over medium heat until liquid
  5. Take off heat and add cacao, vanilla powder and peppermint oil
  6. Pour frosting over brownies and place in the refrigerator until frosting is firm
  7. Cut into squares, serve and enjoy with a nice warm cup of Thieves tea.
